Role: Retail Strategy and Operations Lead (with MKTG Inc. | Partners: Shopify, Kylie Cosmetics)

Shopify powered the first-ever Kylie Cosmetics pop-up and brought the brand offline for the first time. Breaking records was nothing new for Kylie Cosmetics, selling out online product drops in seconds. Launching the first physical experience for the brand was no different. Record breaking attendance at the initial holiday pop-up launch in Los Angeles proved so successful, a second experience was added in SoHo, NYC during Spring Fashion Week.

  • 14 days (Los Angeles), 7 days (NYC)

  • 10K+ audience opening day, the largest of any pop-up in lower Manhattan

  • Sold out inventory at both locations

  • 200M+ impressions, earned media, and PR with features in Forbes, Fast Co., and more

Proclaimed by the industry as “year of the drop”, saw a retail resurgence that highlighted a shift in retail trends and the growing importance of physical spaces for brands. Shopify launched the pop-up experience and with product powering Kylie Cosmetics brand online and offline proved Shopify was not merely an e-commerce platform but rather the premier tool and rocket-power support for business entrepreneurs and brands of all types and sizes.
