The launch of SK-II global Olympic campaign kicked off with a takeover of Times Square announcing “VS”, an animated original mini-series by SK-II Studio. The live launch featured campaign spokesperson and Olympic gymnast Simone Biles, media takeover, preview screening, and press/media Q+A panel moderated by Katie Couric.

The 6-episode series highlighted stories of top Olympic athletes winning against the toxic beauty industry and celebrating beauty is #NOCOMPETITION. The launch resulted in earned media attention, consumer awareness, and drove brand engagement sending a positive message with top of mind campaign content right as the world went into pandemic lockdown.
