VERIZON | +PLAY OSCARS 2023 COMMERCIAL
“All together now”
The launch of Verizon’s new subscription management platform, +play, debuted at the 2023 Academy Awards. With a little help from some cool AI tech, we created a musical mash-up of some fan-favorite content from their partner platforms, set to the tune of “All Together Now” by The Beatles. It’s an ensemble performance Bob Geldof would be proud of.
Role: Executive Producer (with R/GA | Partner: Verizon)
The ask: educate and drive awareness of the new Verizon +play platform.
To promote +play, the centralized platform for customers to manage streaming subscriptions in one place, we created :60s broadcast TV spots, aired across (3) tailored placements during the 2023 Academy Awards. Using AI tech, content from Verizon partners platforms, VFX and CGI to create realistic product demo, and an original score of The Beatles “All Together Now” song.
The result: a compilation of final spots that left consumers watching the Oscars on Sunday, singing The Beatles on Monday; knowing +play can now manage all their subscriptions in one place.
